Privacy policy
Short, because there isn't much to say: this site collects nothing about the people who visit it.
Browsing the site
No cookies are set, essential or otherwise. No advertising pixels, no tracking scripts. Visitors are counted by a tool from our hosting provider (Cloudflare Web Analytics), without cookies, without identifiers, and without following anyone from one site to another: it cannot recognize a person. Cloudflare, as our hosting provider, handles the technical side of serving the pages, and we neither review nor keep any logs that identify people.
Writing to us
The site has no contact forms and collects no data about its visitors. Ordering a license (the /order page) records the details of the institution and of the license manager, which are needed for the purchase order and the invoice. There is one address to reach us: [email protected]. We use the messages we receive only to write back to you.
The game in class
The education version of the game requires no student account, no email address, and no sign-up. A student joins a game with the game code and a first name (or a nickname). Only that first name and the decisions made in the game are recorded, so that the class debrief works and students can keep playing at home; they are deleted twelve months after the game was created. The game also keeps a few usage statistics, with no name or address attached: the country, language, and age group chosen at the start, and the number of turns played. They help us tune the game's difficulty. If a player turns on notifications in the mobile app, their phone's technical identifier is stored together with the language, country, and age group chosen at the start, as well as their time zone, so we can let them know when a turn opens and share news about the game.
Your rights
Data protection laws, including the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), give you the right to access, correct, and delete the data that concerns you, and to object to its processing. To exercise those rights, write to [email protected]. You may also file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
Updates
This policy will be updated if the site or the game change. Last revised: October 2026.
